Procedures
Central to the success of the National Agreement is a highly effective, widely respected procedure for the prevention and resolution of issues at site level. Where, exceptionally, resolution is not achieved at site level, there is swift recourse to national level for a final and binding decision.
As agreed by the NJC on 12th January 2011, the practice directions for Procedural access to Stage 4 from Stage 2, or Stage 3 where applicable, have been revised, updated and supersede those contained in the current edition of the NAECI.

The revised timescale and submission requirements of both new practice directions should now be used for access to Stage 4 of the NAECI Procedure.
